About Us
Veterans of the Gulf War Alliance is a veteran-led initiative focused on Gulf War Illness, toxic exposure, and the long-term impact of service after the 1990–1991 Gulf War.
We exist to support veterans and families, preserve the truth of what happened, and strengthen the connection between lived experience, medical research, and public policy.
Our work focuses on three priorities:
Support
Helping veterans and families feel heard, understood, and connected.
Research Awareness
Bringing attention to established Gulf War Illness research, including chronic multisymptom illness, toxic exposure, neurological symptoms, pain, fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, and gastrointestinal issues.
Policy and Accountability
Encouraging lawmakers, agencies, and institutions to recognize Gulf War Illness consistently and respond with urgency.
No Gulf War veteran should have to prove their suffering forever.
Veterans of the Gulf War Alliance was created to help carry that truth forward.
We are a team of Gulf War veterans operating across the United States
